I wandered, loony as a clod…

In search of something that might make me feel a bit better.

(If you can read this, you are using different colour settings to most users. May I take this occasion to apologise for the maudlin self-pity, and to thank you for participating in my therapeutic process.)

There was rain for the past few days, and that’s always a welcome change around here. If I’d been a little more motivated around 3 AM, I would have photographed the streetlight, supported on its own cone of dense, well-illuminated fog.

It wasn’t to be, though. Sleep was finally starting to look possible, and I thought I’d catch it before all the early morning bird noises robbed me of a chance.

This morning I was interested by the way rain gathers on the leaves of those nasturtiums I never quite get round to pulling up, possibly because they cover a fairly ugly area of unused concrete.

I took some pictures. Clicky-makes-biggy, as usual….
