Sensible Article Is Delayed
Posted by: ryno in Uncategorized, tags: F1, Housekeeping, motorsportMotorsport is a passion in the Ryno household. Time to go and veg in front of the Big Glass Box, so we can watch the Hungaroring qualifying sessions.
Lewis Hamilton has been the darling of the household since McLaren added him to the driver lineup.
Your humble bloggist has spent the blogging time on Other Projects, and will write something for both my Dear Readers in eight or nine hours.
Off to the races!
Late edit: Very unsporting, Alonso. “Alonso clocked 1:19.674 after Hamilton failed to cross the line in time for a last flyer — it appeared that Alonso held his teammate up in the pits but both drivers evaded the question in the press conference.”
And so to bed.
Much later edit: “However, in a media briefing after qualifying McLaren team principal Ron Dennis revealed that it had been Hamilton that had triggered the situation.”
Hmm. It’s “who”, not “that” if you’re referring to a person, dear F1 journo. I swear, F1 is getting more like a religion, with gourds and sandals everywhere.
Post^3script: Fernando Alonso has been stripped of pole and moved five places down the Hungarian Grand Prix grid after impeding Lewis Hamilton in qualifying.
Hamilton was handed pole hours after being delayed by his team-mate in the pit lane, meaning he was too late for his final lap.
McLaren will also not be allowed to score constructors’ points.
Anyone for croquet?
