And other mundane stuff. Herself finally left the land of WinBloat, so there will be less of those crashes, lockups and other unacknowledged WinFeatures to put up with. (Seeing she’s a reasonably clueful little geekette, there are not many transition problems either.) A large “Woo” and a hatful of “Yay” for the Linux Mint distro and all who make it possible.

Apart from getting as much edible vegetation as we can keep watered (and some pretties for the Girl!) going, the spare energies have been largely directed toward house maintenance, trying to wrangle the solar power thingy and its installers into happening¹, and (ha, ha, ha, ha) staying alive…

In between, the small, leftover crumbs of time have been taken up with Frankenboxing² and being Constance J Woodle’s enabler in games of Chase That Goddammed Tennis-Ball and repeated incidences of Shaken Fluffy Toy Syndrome.

In between, some silly ideas occur to me:
