A Shot In The Dark

Unfortunately the fog is not quite so heavy tonight, but I decided to have a go anyway: finding distractions is a bit important to me at the moment.
I managed to find a .PDF of the manual for my camera, so I could RTFM. The mode I wanted was “turn the little dial to the picture of the crescent moon on a black background”. Damn, that technical stuff is so counter-intuitive! </facetiousness marker for the literal-minded>
Squint along with me as I stumble the streets. As always, clicky-makes-biggy.
Dockland? Haunted mansions? Ansell Adams overdoing the silver nitrate?
I wish I could have caught one of these lights about 3AM last night: it was just a cone of light and even the trees weren’t visible.
The halo effect on the lights is remniscent of stars in a David Malin photo-poster I have.
Cue private-eye movie theme…
It’s not the moon.
… and as the second moon rose…
There were dark, furtive creatures afoot in the night, slaves to the call of their natural desires. While looking for a spot to brace the camera on a lamp-post, I saw this fellow in silhouette…
A rendezvous had been planned…
“Bugsy sent me.”
The Sekrit Antenna-shake is exchanged.
“Quick, under here! I think we’re being watched.”
Bed now, methinks. G’night, Both My Readers™.
