The Ryno Pen

The Toowoomba Carnival Of Flowers has ended for yet another year. Once again my brave show of frost-bitten perennial pepper plants, clover burr and self-seeded loquats failed to impress the judges: I’d probably feel worse if we’d entered the competition.

Still, apart from the curmudgeonly folk at Chez Ryno, the whole city throws itself behind the celebration of All Things That Are Floral.

Even the local yobs are going to some pains to Say It With Flowers…
