From an old art notebook (2004).

I was cooking with beetroot (hmm, yummy borscht!)

and had the idea of carving a piece of beet and using it as a stamp.

Perhaps it would have gone better in a non-gesso’d journal. The images have faded a little.

The soup was, however, fairly decent.
