Why?

In an attempt to answer this, I have hypothesised!

Ryno’s Theory Of Female Appliances
All the first of anything you buy (drills, angle grinders, screwdrivers or whatever) are male. They tend to hide and stake out territories. You keep buying ‘em and they keep hiding, until you are lucky enough to get a female.

Then all the male tools come out of hiding to compete.

This is how I came to have four drills, two angle-grinders, and multiple guitar tuners.
