Part one saw the cuttings from the (almost totally) seedless hybrid pepper given The Works.
I placed all five clones, and the One Seed, in pots on a sunny window ledge. Here’s Day One, with already some withering noticeable:

The only fully-formed seed I’ve recovered from a Farinelli is potted: not sure if it will germinate.

The plant in the square black pot is a Purple Tiger variety pepper. I got a fairly sorry-looking specimen from a local craft-market-cum-tourist-trap. It will serve as an example of a plant in moderate health.
Day Two
Despite watering, things are getting a bit dry in the leaf department. Given the lack of roots, this is probably to be expected.
Wondering if the sunny spot wasn’t perhaps too sunny, I decided to prepare a few additional cuttings for placement in a shadier spot.
I took the opportunity to document the leaf, flower, and ripe/unripe fruit appearance of the Farinelli.
I’ll keep tabs on the progress of these cuttings (two per tub) as well. There’s already a nip in the night air, and the main plant will require a few frost precautions soon.
