I’ve been saying I’d get photos of the elusive brown gecko who inhabits my studio. At long last, he sat still for long enough to let me photograph him.

The little fellow must have worked out that KitTern can’t reach him and the people aren’t a threat.
He’s still directly above and behind me, on the ceiling, waiting for a moth or two.

He’s the sort of fleshy pink one sees under a fresh field mushroom that’s not long opened.
The delicacy of him, the little pudgy corrugations along his upper tail (I suspect he’s been dining well on bugs around the light fittings), the tiny toe-pads with their even-tinier claws… jings, I’d say this beastie was beautiful even if he didn’t have the Cute Big Dark Eyes Effect going for him.

:) ooo, he is wonderful. I almost described him as cute but… that didn’t seem quite the right word.
