Should Pascal have even been at the betting shop?

I was on a message board once where I saw a Christian address an objection to the validity of a talking snake with the response that “snakes still, to this very day do talk, but we are not righteous enough to hear them”. - Quote from a Russell’s Teapot forum post

The forum is quite young (few posters so far), but the above excerpt shows promise!

I’m not pushing an atheist barrow, merely declaring that my Fundie one was remarkably unwieldy, what with the square wheel and all.

As I was remarking last night, I was well along the way to being taught how to be the man behind the curtain before it dawned on me that much of what was happening was theatre. The very stuff that was being pushed in the Worship Music subject (possible topic for a Why I Quit Ministry College post?) was pretty obviously being trotted out by one of the AOG members doing a TV “talent” show.

Meh. Whatever.
