My venus flytrap started popping up flower stalks about a week ago.
Oh, goody, thinks I. I wondered what the flowers would be like, so of course I took to the Intertubes.
Apparently flowering is likely to severely knacker, or maybe even kill, the plant. (As if the nasty case of sunburn all my carnivores got from unexpectedly-strong sun in the front window ledge wasn’t bad enough!)
So, it’s snippety-snip for the flytrap.
How would it have turned out?
Maybe a rare yellow
