My eyes convinced, eclipsed with the younger moon attained with love.
It changed as almost strained amidst clear manna from above.

Moon, blushing at having its photo taken

It has been a quiet day, by necessity. Whether the cosmic influence of the coming eclipse got into my ancient and somewhat mistreated limbs, or whether my adventures with yesterday’s plumbing emergency were starting to tell, I’m not sure.

I moved lots of stuff in a hurry yesterday, and mowed a jungle yard that was waiting for the drought to break, and had gotten a bit tangled in the meantime. Sheesh – leave a lawn for 500-odd days and it turns on ya!

So, today was spent lying in bed being very sore and sorry. I didn’t manage to get to sleep till just before 4am last night anyhow.

Evening, and a delightful spag bolognaise from Herself lifted spirits a bit. We gathered downstairs for a peek at the lunar eclipse. Cheap cameras don’t make for much of a shot, but we got some fine real-life peeps in via the binoculars.

I promise both my gentle readers that I will write another Escape From The Charismatics tale this week. Possibly even tomorrow.

Sleep well.
