Thanks to Herself, I get to access all the nice Seekrit Codes that tell me what both my readers are up to. My Girl, she is clever and prettier than the NCIS Geek Chick, and every bit as good a Swiss Army Lass, when it comes to knowing handy stuff. From knowing what aiglets are, to giving as good as she gets in translingual puns, Caityquilter rules!

Who needs Abby when you got a Quilter?

So I get to see all kinds of terms people have used while trickling down the gutter of the ol’ superhighway to sluice into this sordid little puddle.

What have we got in the lobster pot this week? “giggle pen,  jehovah witnesses screensavers, , nixie sputnik,  “i’m a bad student”, ” I refuse to join any club that would”, “emo potato” shirt, Frank Kuppner”… and a metric SHEDLOAD of hillsong-related queries.

and this: “achewood is NOT funny“. My Magic 8 Ball tells me it came from California, USA. Okay, there are many people in California, but not that many are going to bung “achewood is NOT funny” into the search bar. I may have offended.

An Achewood strip. Genius.

If that was you, Chris, I deeply regret having put a spurious blip on your radar. Achewood is excellent, even when it isn’t funny: it transcends all kind of stuff like punchlines and plausibility traps.

To give both the readers of my ravings a chance to share the heady elixir which has sapped my sanity, I present the New Webcomics page for your delectation and delight.

Read ‘em and weep. Or whatever.

Seeing the Hillsong thingy and Tanya Levin’s book seem to be a popular topic, it will gladden the cockles of some hearts to know I’ll have the book in my grubby little paws by early next week, postman permitting.

I’ll read and review as soon as possible. In the meantime, I hope to give you at least one more Escape From Church episode.

G’night.
